Foundation and Farmers' Marketeers Scholarships
Scholarship applications for the Pueblo County 4-H Foundation and the Farmers' Marketeers are now available. Applications are due June 1. PLEASE read all information and make sure ALL documentation is included with your application. Incomplete applications will result in a loss of points. You will NOT be able to bring missing information to the interview.

The riding portions of the levels test have been updated. Please visit our New Riding Test page to download the documents in .pdf format. Please discontinue using the old riding tests. If you'd like a packet of the new tests mailed to you please contact our office.

Horse Safety Checkoff

Here's the sheet to use while you practice for the Safety clinics. This is what youth will be evaluated on during the safety check-off clinic. First year and pre-level must attend one of the two clinics.

2012 Dog tests
The 2012 Dog tests are being prepared. The test questions will come from the first three chapters of the new dog resource guide. We will be using the same test for body parts that we have used in the past and you can access it below:

The 2012 livestock tests are being prepared. The test questions will come from the first three chapters of the new livestock resource guides. We will be using the same test for body parts that we have used in the past and you can access them below:

Beef
Goat - dairy, breeding
Goat - market
Poultry
Rabbit
Sheep
Swine

 

2012 Livestock E-Record Grading

Leaders will be responsible for grading livestock (beef, goat, poultry, rabbit, sheep, swine) e-records. On June 4, leaders must notify the office that the books are "up to par" for the county fair. Then, on September 10, leaders must notify us of the scores for each record book. Below you will find the scoresheets and a user guide to help you grade the books.

Additionally, there will be a training on May 18 that leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.

4-H Collegiate

Collegiate 4-H is an organization that provides its members with a sense of identity on campus, enriches their lives through group projects and recreation, and develops confidence and leadership skills. Collegiate 4-H is open to all secondary-education students who wish to support youth and the 4-H program. It is not necessary to have prior 4-H experience, only to have an interest in the 4-H ideals and in serving your community.
